The clash at the Allianz Arena ended in goalless draw with the bianconeri all in all achieving a good result in a difficult stadium.
The match is immediately very fast and exciting with the two teams determined to bring home the three points. On the 2nd minute, the ball is put into the Juve area but Buffon grabs well while seconds later, the actions shifts with the ball into the Bayern area but Badstuber clears.
On the 3rd minute, a good ball into the area by Trezeguet sees the defence forced to resort to an out-ball. The area of action swings from one side to another and on the 4th minute, Ribery puts a dangerous ball into the area with Chiellini clearing. One minute later, Juventus' hearts miss a beat as Muller shoots upon entering the area with the ball going inches wide.
The 5th minute sees good work by Juve as they put a dangerous ball into the Bayern area with the defence clearing with some difficulty. Four minutes later, Klose heads high following a Bayern freekick. The quarter of an hour mark sees a free-kick for Juve: Diego puts the ball into the area with Braafheid putting the ball into corner. From the flag the defence clears. Seconds later, the ball is put into the Bayern area but the flag is up for a dubious off-side.
On the 16th minute, Muller tries a shot but Chiellini blocks well. Two minute! s later, a good attempt by Diego from between a defender's leg! s goes w ide. A few seconds later beautiful action by Camoranesi who passes to Diego whose shot is saved by the keeper while on the 19th minute Ribery with an incredible move enters the area and finds himself in front of Buffon putting the ball high over the bar.
The Juve defence is under pressure. On the 23rd minute, a dangerous ball is put by Lahm into the Juve area with the bal cleared by the defence. Three minutes later, a Trezeguet cross is too high for Iaquinta. On the 29th minute, there is a corner for Bayern after Diego wins an incredible ball in the Juve area.
On the half hour, a Klose header goes inches high over the bar. One minute later, a free-kick for Bayern is shot extremely high by Schweinsteiger. On the 32nd minute, Camoranesi shoots from outside the area with keeper forced to a super save into corner.
The 33rd minute sees a corner for Bayern: Ball into the! area. Chiellini saves a first time and Buffon a second into corner. The 35th minute sees a dangerous cross into the area from the corner with the ball luckily going high over the bar. On the 38th minute, Chiellini puts the ball into corner after a dangerous Bayern initiative. The ball is shot over the bar.
On the 40th minute, there is a ball into the area by Grosso, Trezeguet turns and shoots beautifully with the ball going wide. Four minutes later, Marchisio shoots very high over the bar.
Before the end of the first half (1 minute of stoppage time), a beautiful exchange between Diego and Trezeguet ends with the ball being saved by the defence.
The second half is a different story with Juventus definitely the better of the two teams. On the 2nd minute, Grosso clears a dangerous ball in the Juve area and seconds later, Olic shoots extremely wide.
On the 4th m! inute, a good ball into the area by Camoranesi, is a bit too h! igh for Treseguet to head. One minute later, Grosso anticipates Muller in the area. On the 8th minute a good ball into the Bayern area sees Trezeguet caught on the wrong footing. One minute later, Buffon saves well on Muller. Seconds later, there is a corner for Bayern: Braafheid puts the ball into the area. Ball iscleared by Trezeguet who is playing a very generous match.
The 10th minute sees Legrottaglie who clears the area with an overhead kick. Two minutes later, Grosso puts a dangerous ball into the area with the defence forced to put desperately into corner. From the flag, Camoranesi puts the ball into the area but the defence clears.
The quarter of an hour sees Felipe Melo who brings out a great ball from the area. Seconds later two Bavarian players miss the ball in the area gracing Juventus. Poulsen on for Diego.
On the 21st minute Iaquinta does not see Trezeguet ! who is coming up from behind anticipates him shooting high over the bar. Seconds later, Van Buyten takes no risks on Iaquinta as he enters the area. On the 23rd minute, a good through ball by Poulsen for Iaquinta is slightly too long.
The 25th minute sees a ball into the Juve area cleared by Felipe Melo. On the 28th minute Amauri comes on for Trezeguet and four minutes later, there is an excellent long ball by Felipe Melo to Grosso who crosses into the area but the defence manages to clear. On the 35th minute, there is a beautiful attempt by Iaquinta who receives the ball with his back to goal, turns and shoots slightly wide. Two minutes later, a foul on Iaquinta outside the area but the referee signals to play on.
On the 41st minute there is a good head clearance by Legrottaglie. One minute later there is a ball headed high by Amauri but the game is stopped for a foul in attack. On the 44th minute t! here is a ball into the area by Camoranesi but the keeper grab! s well. Tiago comes on for Camoranesi on the last minute of regulation time. On the 2nd minute of the two of stoppage time, there is a corner for Juve: Grosso puts the ball into the area but the defence clears as the referee blows the final whistle.
The end of the match saw the two teams share the spoils in what seems to be a fair result considering the fact that they had one half each. Bordeaux won and are therefore joint first with Bayern (4 points) with Juventus 3rd with 2 points.
